Dr. John Daniel Davis, MD

I had an appointment with Davis in 2018. Verified 3 times that my appointment would be with him. His nurse practitioner saw me first then Davis came in after the two looked at the MRIs . Davis never touched me .He said the MRI s don't show any discs against the L5 nerve root. MRI clearly says L5 was against the nerve root to left leg. He said he didn't see any need for any surgery. The following year I had my SS disability hearing. SS had sent me to a specialist for an examination and had a retired orthopedic spine doctor testify as a medical expert. He looked at the exact same documents and MRIs Davis and Klein looked at.He explained to the judge what is wrong with my back in detail. When he was done my attorney asked for his expert opinion. He said I was less than sedentary 2015,2014 and 2013 and would have benefited from decompression surgery each year and that I would be in worse shape now. I had decompression surgery last year and c4 c5 c6c7 replaced in my neck July 2023 this… month. After I recover from this I have to have L2 L3 L4 and L5 replaced . the discs in my neck and lower back are collapsed and wore out. Davis didn't want to treat me because I had my attorney listed on my paperwork. My PCP and attorney said they would bet their salary that was the reason. I had requested my records two times. The second batch of records were different than the first one . When I called and asked why they just told me I was mistaken and my appointment was always.scheduled with Lance Klien his NPT. So now they have changed my records and refuse to amend them to be correct. Davis can't lied well at all. The place and their actions make me think the place is as corrupt as the White House and the seventh floor of the FBI building. The medical expert said my condition didn't happen over night and it doesn't ever get any better without treatment. Davis had a good rep and I selected him for my surgeries because of his rep. The moment he said I didn't need any surgeries and there is no discs against any nerves I new he was lying. Since all this I would not recommend this spine center to.anyone because they can't be trusted. Everything I listed here is the truth and have medical documents to back it up.

Dr Davis and his staff were nice and helpful and I would recommend them to anyone that needs help with their back pain, thank you for your help.

Dr. Davis is great! He will only do surgery if there is no other options for treatment. I know am no longer having pain all day. I would recommend Dr. Davis to anyone!!

I had been in so much pain that it was at times so unbearable. I would hurt constantly. After being referred to Dr. Davis, he sat down with me and told me just how serious my condition was. He was just as straight forward and honest as anyone could ask. I would refer anyone to him. Also his staff has checked on me just about everyday. Everyone's experience is different I'm sure, but for me I would recommend Dr. Davis and Newsouth Neurospine in a heartbeat.

I had been bedridden for the most part for over 5 weeks with pain in my right leg that was so severe that it was really hard to bear sometimes. This was from a bone spur that was pressing on a nerve in my back. Dr. Davis did an operation on my back and that afternoon I was walking up and down the hall in the hospital with NO PAIN. Now about 8 weeks later I am still enjoying no pain. He is the best.
