HORRIBLE FOLLOW UP

Dr. Dea and the nurse I usually see, Cici, are great medical practitioners. They are friendly but get to the point of your visit. I would give them both my highest rating. The rest of the staff though are completely incompetent. I have been going there for almost 15 years and it seems that every visit there are new faces in the office and they never seem to know what they are doing. I have a FSA that reimburses me for co-pays as long as I submit a receipt. Each time I ask for a receipt that specifies what I paid was a co-pay they act as if they have no idea what to do. Very frustrating. I just changed the time of an upcoming appointment and the person who helped me on the phone took forever to make a simple appointment change. Long periods of silence (20-30 seconds) between questions. A couple of times I though I had been disconnected. I would highly recommend Dr. Dea and his nurses but I sometimes wonder if the hassle with the rest of the staff is worth it.

I have been with Dr. Dea for several years now and he is a wonderful caring compassionate doctor. Staff at Family Care of Lower Paxton is always friendly, courteous, helpful and sympathetic.

I don't know if he was just having a bad day, but I don't appreciate the service he gave to my daughter today. He was not a caring doctor and had an attitude as he could care less. He was VERY RUDE. How can you make an appointment to see a doctor because you are sick and in pain? and he's going to say something stupid like, "why are you here? I'm here to see people that are sick" That statement says it all. Aren't you there to CARE for people that are sick? Are you freakin kidding me? As if she were there to waste her time? I thought that doctors were suppose to be caring and would do their best to make their patients feel better? Very disappointed with his service today.

Dr. Dea is a great doctor. Down to earth, engaging, thorough. Listens to his patience, does not rush you through & does not talk down to his patients or staff, as some drs. tend to do. I highly recommend Dr. Dea if you are looking for new dr.

Doctors are great. However Receptionist is extremely rude and very unhelpful. I think she thinks she is the doctor. For this reason I do not recommend going there.

I've seen him quite a few times in the last 2 years for annual physicals as well as random ailments. Each time he was very friendly and caring. I especially like that he really takes into consideration the costs of tests and prescriptions and what my insurance will cover. He doesn't schedule unnecessary tests. He's kinda funny too lol. Great Dr!

Most doctors leave it up to the office staff to cope with the questions they dont have the time to answer, Dr Dea not only listened but made sure I knew all my options about my care.

Dr. Dea is a good listener. During my visits I felt that he took all of my concerns into account. He is practical and does not sending me out of tests or procedures that I do not need. The staff is friendly and helpful.
