When I first came into Virginia Urology, staff members provided â??unsolicited complimentsâ?? about his kindness and thoroughness. From my experience, this is not that common and is a telling sign of an excellent doctor. They were right. He always does his homework before he steps in the room to talk to you. Even with short notice the homework is done (e.g. Iâ??d point out an emergency room finding occurring 12 hours ago and he was already on it). A second major strength is his ability to very thoroughly, but quite succinctly, diagnose and spell out treatment (next steps and possibilities, downsides/upsides, progression of a condition, etc.). You will never leave the room trying to interpret what was said at home, after the fact. Third, he indeed demonstrates great compassion sprinkled with calming and appropriate humor. A First class physician; HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
