Dr. John Vincent Dellosso, MD

After first visit He did not call re lab tests /when I did took office 2 weeks to send./ saw one page wAs missing /office said of the 3 vials they took they LOST (!) one wanted me to come back to retake / With such carelessness how do I even know blood they sent out was mine! my Search for internist will continue ,,,

I was to have my 1st time appointment with Dr. Dellosso for a physical. I was told he was running 30 minutes behind b/c he was 1 hour late for work. 1.5 hours later, I was still not seen. I told the nurse I didn't feel comfortable seeing him at that point because I was looking for a long term Dr. and felt it was unprofessional. She shrugged. I told the others at the front desk he at least owes me a call to apologize. With a slight eye roll she said "The doctor doesn't make phone calls to patients. You can talk to the office manager." I did. The office manager was nice and said she'd relay the message. She then called me on the phone to say he was sorry and that I could reschedule anytime I wanted. SO generous of them. I was really upset that this was my experience as I did a lot of online searching for a NY doctor. He has mostly positive reviews but the few bad ones I ignored, warned of this. Some said very late and then rushes you. Unfortunately they're right.

I have seen Dr. Dellosso for about 8 years. He is the kindest, most personable dr. I have ever been to. He listens and gives you only the best specialists when needed. He really knows his field, a great diagnostician. He has a really gentle, caring manner, never a stiff, removed, uppity attitude like some doctors have and I would never go to anyone else. I have to mention that every person at the desk is also absolutely lovely!

Dr dellosso is a family dr of us.Very trusted and a all in all good Dr.The only bad thing i can say is that he doesnt spend too much time on his patients due to the fact that he has a Lot of them.I just wish he can spend more time
