He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Fairfield University in Conn., in 1978, and was awarded his D.D.S. (Dental degree) from the University of Buffalo (Buffalo, NY) in 1982. He completed a one year general practice Residency at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, before relocating to sunny Florida. After working in 2 practices for other dentists, he and his wife Dr. Theodora Kalonaros-Dietrich opened their own practice in Port Charlotte, FL in July of 1985.
Dr. John L. Dietrich, besides being highly skilled in all facets of general dentistry, has extensive training in Implant placement and restoration, Cosmetic Dentistry, Anxiety Free Dentistry, and TMJ treatment. He is known for his meticulous attention to every detail of dental treatment. Over the years he has served …on the Board of the Charlotte County Dental Society, the FL West Coast Dental Association, the local chapter of the American Cancer Society, and numerous other organizations.
