After all the boasting on their website about the warm, caring and friendly environment, I was surprised to experience none of the above attributes. From brusque treatment on the phone when I retuned the staff's call -- they wanted to change my appointment time -- to the unfriendly employees at the reception desk, who totally ignored me as I waited in vain to check in, to being kept waiting 30 minutes after arriving on time -- having accommodated their request to move my appointment to an earlier time, to condescension when I indicated I did not want to share private details like my and my husband's social security numbers prior to my even meeting the orthodontist let alone deciding to become his patient -- it just wasn't the friendly, caring environment the advertising portrays. While seemingly well meaning, the dentist's personal call to me a short time later appeared to trivialize my experience with his unfriendly staff, confirming my initial reaction that this was not a… practice with which I felt comfortable.
