Doctor doesn’t care enough about his patients to follow up with necessary treatments. Also has no record of tests he performed, what kind of practice tells you they didn’t do something when 100% they did.

I have seen Dr Dowd for many many years an trust his expertise. He always remembered my husband Dan an myself an made us feel special. I really would prefer Dr Dowd for my colonoscopies rather than other Doctors I have seen in the past. It is very comforting to know we have some with a great bedside manner as well as experience an love for what he does best.

After having seen other doctors in this field, I am very thankful to have found Dr. Dowd. He accurately diagnosed my ulcerative colitis and with the med he prescribes and follow-up, it has been in remission for years. He is probably the specialist I value the most!

I was suppose to be under anesthesia and when he came into the room he was mad at the anesthesia doctor and screamed out to give her more "-------"medicine to knock her out. That's the last thing I remembered but was horrified because I couldn't move and heard the whole thing

Dr. Dowd was kind and thorough from the start, and he went so far as to recommend a special diet for my intestinal challenges. I was impressed that a traditional doc would recommend a dietary program over medication. Great guy, great diagnostician.
