Dr. John Frederick Dunn, MD

My husband went to see Dr Dunn after being told he had a hernia. Dunn comes in the exam room and is immediately rude, barely examines him and says he thinks it’s appendictis. (When I tried to explain what the primary dr had said, he wouldn’t listen, barely shook his head at me and walked out the door.) Then, He sends us for a CT scan where we wait for hours then get sent home with zero answers (not even a we’ll call to let you know for that matter). He calls us the next morning and says it’s neither a hernia or appendicitis and tells us to go see our primary dr again for maybe a cyst or “something” Again, we go and he tells us he’s pretty positive it is a hernia which now appears to have gotten bigger and sets us up with a different surgeon. Our dr didn’t seemed too thrilled after I explained how the appointment went although I can’t fully speak for him. Later that day, Dr Dunn’s office calls and says they want him to come back in the morning to review. We told them we would not be… using him and had gotten another surgeon. Absolutely ridiculous to be treated like that, over a hernia! He was very rude, unprofessional and acting downright awful towards us. I would not recommend using Dunn for any medical services you may need.

My grandmother used him about 6 years ago as her surgeon and it was the worst treatment she could have ever gotten!! After surgery he left town and left no instruction for the nurses and no medications. As a result ahe developed an infection and had to have more surgeries and still having problems with it. I would highly recommend no one EVER use him as their surgeon. As far as im concerned he should have his medocal license taken away!!
