Dr. John Russell Durkin, MD

Dr. John Durkin is a dermatologist who earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. With 12 years of experience treating skin conditions, he focuses on comprehensive dermatological care for patients of all ages. His practice encompasses both medical and procedural dermatology, providing diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of skin concerns.

Dr. Durkin practices at multiple locations throughout New Mexico, including UNM Health Dermatology and University of New Mexico Hospitals in Albuquerque, as well as UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center in Rio Rancho. He treats common skin conditions such as eczema and atopic dermatitis, along with melanocytic nevus. His procedural expertise includes laser therapy for skin lesions and cryotherapy treatments. Dr. Durkin also performs skin lesion removal procedures when necessary.
