Made a diagnosis in just 25 mins. That I proved to him could not be done. From a print out I showed him from highly respected Mayo Clinic. In which it read that it takes yrs to make such a diagnosis. When shown this. He just replied. Well that what I feel is right. I refused to take a drug with many toxic side effects. Because it was for something I did not have. He paid no mind to other information proving him wrong. Unless you don't wanna do research n just take whatever he says. Then be smart it's your body. Go to someone else who is opened minded.

I just feel like he is just prescribing me meds of his choice. I am not sleeping good at night. He took my klonopin away and put me on all these meds that are mot helping me. I am more anxious anf anxiety has become worse. I was on klonopjn for years and at least I could sleep at nighy.Now I am up all night and bearly slerp. I ferl he doesnt listrn to you and does want he wants anf takes nothing you say serious.

I've seen Dr. Eckard many times over the years. He is always professional and courteous. He is very knowledgeable and caring towards his patients. He isn't someone that will just give you medication and send you on your way. He understands the importance of not only the medicine side of mental problems but the whole picture including the sessions with counselors. He is direct and concise which some may seem as off putting but I don't think that is his intention. Knowing that him and his staff will do what it takes to help you is very comforting.

I felt an inch tall by the time I walked out of his office. I was very humiliated to the point of crying my eyes out! I've never been treated so rudely by a doctor in my life. It started out great for the first 5 minutes, until he interrupted me and said we're not here to talk about your daughter, we are here to talk about you and he was VERY rude about it! I was shocked that he said that to me after I wasted 5 minutes of my time pouring my heart out to him.. He even asked why I didn't pay taxes on my crafting that I sell on the side.. Anyways, I'm glad I don't have to deal with him anymore.. He needs to treat us "fragile" patients with a little more respect..

He saved my life!

He spends a lot of time with his patients and addresses any problems they may have so is often running behind but it is worth the wait. You end up waiting because he is so caring and wont rush you out of his office. He also has the best office staff.
