Dr. John Lee Edwards, MD

I started seeing him after my doc retired from their practice. I always felt he was rushed and didn't even remember my name or anything about my medical history. He also performed a laproscopy and told me my endometriosis was so bad he couldn't remove it and that no other specialist would either. He said to go on Lupron (lots of side effects, that he played down) for 6 months. I ended up getting 2 more opinions, I agreed the other disagreed and I got pregnant on my first round of basic fertility drugs. Also, the other docs said they would easily remove the endo!! I would say run from this man.

I saw Dr. Edwards for the first time in 2008 during the 2nd month of my pregnancy. Later in 2008, he delivered my twins and has been my doctor ever since. The delivery day was tough for me. Induction started at 4 am, twin A was born at about 3 pm and twin B did not make his appearance until 7:30 pm. Even though Dr. Edwards had an after-hours associate that should have taken on the delivery of twin B he never left my side! Both he and his associate were in the room working hard to make sure twin B and I made it safely through. He is very personable and actually knows my name. If I run into him outside of his office he will always call me by name and chat.

Did a membrane sweep that was unconsented. He knew I wanted to go into labor naturally. I was only 37.6 weeks and he did a membrane sweep without my knowledge of it, which sent me into labor 24 hours later. He is very friendly and seemed to me a nice guy, but doing procedures without consent from the patient is against the LAW. He's lucky I didn't press charges.

Loved the experience. Was in an out with ease. He is super nice and gave the impression he would spend all day with me if needed.

Knew my wife had group b strep yet failed to treat her prior to labor which caused our newborn to have a bacterial infection. Never even saw him until 3 days AFTER delivery. Extremely dissatisfied, would not recommend.

I love the fact that Dr. Edwards takes the time to sit and talk to you as if you're his only patient. He's sympathetic towards your fears and concerns. He has also been really kind to my husband when he comes to my appointments and addresses both of us. The wait time for me to be seen has been no more than 30 minutes or so but I'm ok knowing it's because babies have to be born regardless of appointments scheduled. Thank you Dr. Edwards for bringing bedside manner back to healthcare and leaving the "God complex" out of it.

cares about his patients and getting to know them. Very compassionate and genuine. Always has a smile on his face. Kind to his nurses.

do not visit this doctor. He spent almost no time with me before declaring i was very much in need of serious treatment, this was before i was even given an x-ray or mammogram. He was also, thank god, wrong about his diagnosis.

I have been a patient of Dr Edwards for 10 years and would not want to ever see another Dr. He is super sweet and caring. He has always shown compassion for me and my family.
