Dr. John Charles Elser, MD

Insensitive to patient's feelings. The kind of comments that go on in the office among the employees not proffesional. Patients business not private there. Bedmanner poor. Looking for new doctor at Christ.

We have been seeing Dr. Elser for about 3 years now. We chose him for proximity, and he belongs to LCMH which was a good factor for us. He was also accepting new patients. One bothersome thing about him is he always has an understudy/ assistant with him who he never introduces. Another bothersome feature is the waiting. At first, it wasn't so bad. We don't subscribe to the belief that a doctors time is worth more than ours. But the wait times have gotten worse. I recently waited to see him for over an hour (total time), and my wife took off early from work so she could sit and wait in his office for 90 minutes. IHe recommended a doctor/ specialist to me for a surgery. But the specialist told me my condition didn't warrant a surgery, which was fine. Except Dr Elser disagreed with him. I still had to pay the freight on a large bill for a CT scan. So our rating for Dr Elser is Fair... maybe.

Dr Elser is so kind and patient. He takes his time to explain things so that we understand them. He was especially helpful when my father had a stroke. But he takes care of all members of our family from kids to grandparents. I highly recommend Dr Elser

I would recommed Dr. Elser to everyone. He is the best physician I know. Great bedside manner. He is very caring and is very knowledgable. He is our family physician. He is simply awesome!!!!
