Dr. John Kenneth Evans, DDS

My husband and I have been going to Dr Evan’s for many years. He diagnosed a cracked root and bone after I had been getting the run around for 3 years from doctors, allergist, CT scans my old dentist and I even had a second root canal. My husband suggested that I go to Dr Evan’s and thank goodness I did! I finally had a bone graft and implant and it cleared everything up. You won’t find a more knowledgeable and thorough dentist. He taught for many years at his alma-mater USC school of dentistry. We definitely recommend Dr Evan’s to friends and family. The office staff is very caring and helps make the experience calm and painless. The office is conveniently located off of the 73 fwy and Jamboree in Newport Beach. Another perk is the amazing fresh baked jumbo cookies in the waiting room… I’m just saying!

I don’t know where to begin, but I know I will never go back. The office manager Vicky is very condescending and rude. She will not give you a straight answer regarding what treatment is needed or what your insurance will cover. The assistant with the doctor was very strange. Pink hair with glitter in it and long sparkly fingernails are not really popular. her nails kept digging into my cheek when she was trying to work.. for a grown woman she looked and acted like an adolescent kid. The doctor was nice when he did speak to me but a bit on the slow side.. I would not recommend this place. Find an office that works better with people..
