He completed both his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in medical oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. After his fellowship, Dr. Ferrarone received training in cancer biology research under the guidance of the Nobel laureate Dr. Harold Varmus.
