Dr. John Steven Ferris, MD

Just read a review for Dr. Ferris and am shocked. The reviewer must have been a cranky jerk. I have seen Dr. Ferris for 28 years. The most accurate and fast to determine your problem. Always on time. If you need a specialist he has the best Drs. to back him up. He has changed my life for the good.

Worst doctor and staff I have ever experienced. His staff must be forging the other reviews because his service and bedside manner is atrocious.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Ferris for 20+ years. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate. More often than not - spot on in his diagnosies. At times the office is extremely busy due to so many people who come to this group of knowledgable doctors - but I have never walked out of there feeling rushed. They schedule appointments accordingly and I have never waited longer than 10 minutes max to get in. I have recommended many people to Dr. Ferris and will continue to do so.

I love Dr Ferris. He is a very good Doctor, but the office help is very rude and not very helpful when you have a problem.

Hard to believe a couple of these reviews. Guess that just proves you can't please everyone. I have been a patient of the practice for at least five years and have always found Dr. Ferris and his staff to be very accomodating to my medical needs. His nurse is able to get me in for an emergent problem in the same day, or advise me what to do if appointment not needed. He is able to get to the point and address my needs rapidly, but not in a rushed manner. His care has always been appropriate and his staff handles the referrals better than prior offices where I have been a patient. No one is perfect and can please every one all the time I'm sure, but if you want a caring doctor and staff who won't keep you waiting for hours on end every time I'd recommend Dr. Ferris highly.

I've been a patient for 10 years. Dr Ferris gets to the point. He tells it like it is and I like that, and he does it with humor - when appropriate. If you're interested in a a Dr who is going to sugar coat things and beat around the bush he's not for you. If you want a Dr who is good enough to have other Dr's as patients, (there's a reason for that by the way) then he's your guy.

I have been a patient for many years and find Dr. Ferris to be both caring and clear in his explanations. He has spent time listening to me, tried to guide me to taking better care of myself. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great doctor.

A friendly, yet caring office. On-time visit with thorough exam. Addressed issues and explained options. Involved me in treatment decisions. No secondary providers - see the real doctor everytime. Recommend if you want a thorough doctor/exam. Does not treat over-the-phone without visit.
