Dr. John Leslie Fewins JR., MD

I really wanted to leave zero stars, as I feel that Dr. Fewins doesn't even deserve a one-star rating. People go to the doctor when they need help and aren't feeling well. This doctor displays little to no patience and has a horrible bedside manner. He actually lectured me, was rude to me, and treated me very poorly. I left his office in tears. I cannot understand why he is even in practice, since he obviously doesn't like dealing with patients.

A total waste of my time. Very upset .unbelievable!!

Excellent doctor! He actually removed a calcium stone from under my tongue that was blocking my parotid gland from draining and it was the size of a tooth while I was in his office in only a few minutes. I went from severe pain to none. I will never see anyone else for my ENT needs!!! You can see the picture of the stone on his website-I posted it!

The Doctor May be good but office experience is an F I called for appointment was told a date and at 10amGot to office and was told I didn’t have an appointment so I produced my email confirmation. Then after 10min was called up to window and told my appointment was written down as 1:45pm and the audiologist wasn’t there until that time. I will find another ENT.

The health of his patients is the most important thing to Dr Fewins. I was experiencing vertigo and sever nausea, and Dr Fewins came in off hours to see me. His focus was 1. making sure it was not something more serious and 2. making sure I got better. Can't say enough great things about Dr Fewins and his staff. They truly care about the health of their patients.

I needed to have surgery to remove a large 2" Thyroid nodule, which turned out to be cancerous. Naturally I was terrified of the prospects of having cancer. My Endo referred me to Dr. Fewins because she said I must have a highly skilled and well experienced surgeon to avoid the risk of complications which could be life altering. From the very beginning, I knew I was in good hands with Dr. Fewins. He and his staff treated me with the care and concern anyone would ever hope to receive during such a stressful time. Dr. Fewins informed me that he performs 3 to 5 of these surgeries each week and has done around 2,000 of them overall. He has a kind and caring manner, and he took the time "I" needed to explain the surgery and answer all of my questions, and in doing so he inspired confidence and helped to relax my fears. His surgery coordinator was likewise very kind and caring, and took all the burden off of me for making sure that the hospital and anyone who may be connected to the… surgery accepted my insurance. The surgery went great, just as Dr. Fewins had expected, and the final pathology report indicated all cancer was removed. It has been about three weeks now since the surgery and I have had absolutely no complications. Throughout this process I have been overwhelmed by the wonderful care provided to me by Dr. Fewins and his staff. Dr. Fewins truly saved my life, and for this I will be forever grateful.

Actually I could before visiting Dr. Fewins, however, it was difficult to breathe properly (through the nose) due to an injury while being in my early teens. Dr. Fewins recommended surgery to which I agreed. The results have been outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Fewins.

Dr. Fewins is that rarest of all breeds among doctors today - one who will: 1) Listen intently to what you have to say, 2) Examine you, 3) Apply JUDGMENT based on his training and experience to evaluate your condition, rather than just throw a battery of expensive tests at you. He then explains your condition, gives you the options for treatment and his recommendation, and answers your questions. I’ve been to other ENT doctors in the area; Dr. Fewins is the only one I will ever go to again.
