Dr. John Stewart Fischer, MD

Dr. Fischer is the most caring Doctor I ever went to. I started going to Dr. Fischer when Dr. George Beale retired (which he was the BEST ) their personalities are completed different, but both are caring Doctors. For the small town of Ashland we didn't have very much competition, so Dr. Fischer was new to the area and trying to build his business. When I went to him for the first time, I was so impressed with the Bible scriptures on the wall, and as a Christain Doctor he is. I am very pleased with the care he gives me. The staff and nurses are always extremely nice. I feel my choice of choosing Dr. Fischer as my primary Doctor was an excellent choice.

I recently chose Dr. John Fischer as my new Primary Care Physician which was the right choice. He is friendly, easy to communicate with and extremely competent. I also appreciate his biblical values and high moral character. He and his staff performed their duties with the utmost care and professionalism and Fischer Family Medicine is definitely one of the finest medical facilities I have ever used.

Can't begin to describe my trust for this doctor. He took care of me for 8 years and I cried when he left the Foundry. He saved my life in many ways. I have complete trust in any advice he gave me. I miss him so much! He always was more than just a doctor to us he was our friend and always seemed to know when we needed a little prayer to help us through personal things without asking. He will always have a special place in the DeCola families heart and he still gets us through some rough times by remembering advice he gave us that we still use to deal with our lives daily. Thank you Dr. Fischer for being there for Tony and I medically and spiritually for all those years. So proud of you!! Just a little update on our life . God gifted us with 2 of David's son 3 years ago. They are now 6 and 11. We just built a house in Warrior and moved here Dec1. Hope that small town life will be better for them. I bet your 3 keep you busy! Just wanted to let you know we still think about you and thank… you for taking such good care of us. And I still don't like DOCTOR'S! Just you! We love You! Pam and Tony

Always been amazing..

Some of the staff are not very nice, one receptionist is very short with you, seems to be unhappy in her job. One of the nurses is rude and doesn't listen.

Dr. Fischer is hands-down the best doctor I've ever seen, and I've been around the block a few times...he has a sweet, sweet spirit, you can feel it as soon as he walks into the room. He's very kind, thorough, and takes his time to make sure all your medical issues are taken care of before you leave. I'm having a breast cancer scare right now, which I spoke with him about, and he listened and was very caring...he truly has empathy for his patients and their problems. He even held my hand and prayed with me about the possible cancer. He is the best, you just don't find them like that anymore, and I would recommend him to anyone!

I recently began using Dr. Fisher and I couldn't be happier with a family doctor than I am with Him. He is VERY knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and has the best bedside manner I have ever encountered in ANY doctor I have ever had and I am now 55 years old and have seen a lot of docs in my days. He treats you like a person, and not a number like a lot of doctors do these days, and he spends as much time with you as needed going over your problems, your diagnosis, and his 'plan of attack" to get you better. That means a TON to a patient. His staff is also very professional, friendly, courteous, as thorough in their work with you as a patient. Dr. Fisher also has the best bedside manner out of any other doc I have ever used. If you and your family decide t use Dr. Fisher as your family doctor as we have, you'll be happy you did I assure you. Thank you Dr. Fisher, Family, and staff, and welcome to the community..
