Dr. John Bradley Fitzwater, MD

I had my baby at North Austin Medical Center and this Dr. delivered my baby. I tore upwards and he FAILED to repair and simply sew the tear so, I am disfigured. Medicaid now says they will not pay because it is cosmetic and not covered. Another Dr saw me and said this was simply wrong to do to me! Lazy and negligent!

Dr. Fitzwater honored my goal of having a natural birth, even in a hospital setting. His bedside manner was encouraging. It felt great to know that this doctor had faith in me. He was even in my room for about 30 minutes before I delivered. Exceptional!

I was a nurse with the NICU at St. David's and called to a birthing room to attend the birth of a baby. Myself and those of my team could not believe the way this doctor behaved toward the poor patient and her husband or boyfriend. He continuosly yelled at her to "PUSH HARDER, PUSH HARDER, NOT THERE!!! "PUSH HARDER" very harsh and actually pretty hateful. He also heatedly advised the patient against a c-section, and this is a big no-no. I normally do not write reviews or complain, but the way he behaved left an impression on me that I will not soon forget.

He was rude, seemed upset and made me feel as if I was bothering him. Very poor bedside manner.

This doctor is awful. He birthed my baby at North Austin Medical Center. He is exceptionally rude, lacks empty, and absolutely should not be treating women much less pregnant women and those giving birth.
