Dr. John G Flores, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Flores going on 2 years. He has helped me deal with a few major issues. Thanks to his keen insight I am happy to say my life is better today both physically and emotionally. He is an easy going doctor who I can talk to honestly without reservation . Nice to have a good relationship with your Doc!! I trust his knowledge - he really does care that I am healthy! Happy to continue with him. Nice friendly staff too! He has a relaxed way and it is easy to deal with his office folks ~

I made an appointment to get the prescriptions Dr. Flores had previously prescribed at the six-month interval he had recommended. The primary reason for the visit was to get new prescriptions to continue treatment. As suggested by medical professionals, I brought in a list of my questions which numbered about five items. We talked hurriedly through those as Dr. Flores typed in the charge codes for the visit into the computer with each question itemized/coded and then I was asked to reschedule an appointment for a skin biopsy and one in three months for a physical and again prescriptions. I picked up the meds from CVS from this visit and noticed one was missed. I called to ask if I needed to continue with that drug. I was advised to make another appointment to discuss that. I stated that this prescription had just been overlooked and I didn't feel I should have to return to get it refilled since the primary reason for the appointment was for all refills and Dr. Flores had missed it and… not addressed it as needing any discussion prior to refill. Dr. Flores (via his staff) then insisted I return and pay another office visit charge to discuss this missed prescription as he said he had addressed multiple questions during the visit and that he only had 15 minutes time per patient. My outlook was that it was his oversight and I shouldn't have to pay or take more time due to his error. I was then offered to transfer my records to another doctor. I declined as I had printed off the online encounter report and nothing else was needed for me to see another doctor. Dr. Flores is an example of the issues of medical care in America where the dollar is paramount to the patient. I am planning a move to Panama. I am told that physicians there take the time to listen and treat patients without hurried 15-minute encounters. This all at the price of $15 dollars per visit with an American trained doctor at a John Hopkins affiliated hospital complex in Panama City. Big Pharma, insurance companies, politicians, lobbyists, lawyers, and doctors have created this American medical crisis and respond only with excuses and finger pointing at each other. Meanwhile we patients are extorted and ignored. This scenario cannot be supported by seniors attempting to survive on social security while doctors play golf each afternoon and retire early with summer and winter homes. BTW, Dr. Flores spent more time trying to persuade me to schedule another appointment via multiple calls by staff and then finally a 10-minute call with him to explain how my car repair mechanic would have behaved similarly to get more of my cash.

Excellent staff, wonderful doctor !

Dr. Flores has been my primary care physician for over 15 years. He has always cared about my health and well being. When needed he will make referrals to specialists. Works for me and I plan to remain an established patient.

I have read multiple reviews on this site regarding Dr. Flores's whereabouts. He is no longer with Baylor, and his new location is 730 E Eldorado Pkwy, Little Elm, TX 75068. He sent out postcards after his departure and tried to contact all his former patients, but Baylor has particular rules about physicians leaving. I know he is still accepting new patients and I am confident he would be ecstatic to hear from any former patient.

Does anyone know where Dr Flores has gone to. He was in Frisco and no longer there and trying to find out where he started his practice again. If anyone knows please respond

I just found out that Dr Flores no longer is around. I had been going to him for around 5 years. I would expect any doctor to at least let his patients know what is going on. I would have to come to the conclusion that Dr Flores does not want any more patients. Grrrrr looking for a new GP Dr.

Docs and staff are excellent! However the office manager is completely unprofessional and rude

Terrible experience. I waited an hour to be seen by Dr. Flores. I showed up early and with all new patient paperwork filled out in full, so I did not expect to wait long at all. As I sat there I watched a lady come in for an interview with Dr. Flores, and immediately was brought into the back to see him. 30 minutes later I was finally called back. Much to my surprise Dr. Flores came in to the room with the same lady that was interviewing. He informed me she would be checking me out today. Keep in mind this was my first time to ever see this doctor. It felt very strange to have someone who was not even part of the staff examine me. They never sent the referral to my chiropractor which was the whole purpose of my visit to see Dr. Flores. When I called to find out why, Jennifer in the office lied to me and said she had been trying to get in touch with the chiropractor for 2 weeks. It has only been 1 week since I saw Dr. Flores. The office is rude and unhelpful especially Jennifer.… Please take my advice and find another doctor!!
