I have been going to Dr. Foote for several years and have always felt blessed to have him as my family practitioner.

Dr. Foote has been my PCP for about 3 years. I needed a doctor to be the primary doctor in issuing refills when I started seeing him. He told me he would let the other specialist do that since he was not qualified. WHAT!! So I have to see each specialist to get refills on all prescriptions and I take a lot of medicine for different things. I used up all my vacation time at work seeing the other doctors for 2 years. The last time I went to see him I got caught in traffic and was late. The nurse took my vitals and told me to get undressed for my physical. When I was almost naked, about to put on the gown, he walks in and tells me that since I was late, he was going to have to hurry. So he sat down at the computer in front of me while I put on the gown. It was like I was in a bad X rated movie. And then after telling him that I was already seeing a OB/GYN doctor, he wanted to give me a breast exam. REALLY! for a physical! I felt so violated after I left I have not been back. And… for a physical you should get an EKG and chest X-ray. I didn't get either one. I called my insurance and they told me to change PCP doctors and get an internal medicine doctor which is more "qualified" to monitor my medication so I did.

I saw this doctor on two different occasions. He seems to lack any sense of personal care for patients and seemed afraid to go beyond prescribing an aspirin and call me in the morning. I explained to him that he was a complete waste of my time as he did not seem to want to get involved in my actual care as a PCP. He said, I'll let the specialists handle all of that. A PCP is supposed to be the "quarterback" for a patients team, including all of the specialists.
