Dr. John Edward Francis, MD

I have so much respect for Dr. Francis. What a great find! Dr. Francis did my emergency appendectomy and asked to pray with me before my surgery. He told me that God does he healing, he just provides the hands. God could not have found a better man to bless with these skills!

He was great at first. Once I had an infection after surgery he became very rude. He also pushed his political views on me. I’ve never had a Dr. push their political or religious views on me. I was really strange....

My first encounter with Dr. Francis was in 2004 when I had a colonoscopy. What struck me about him was his caring, warm demeaner (and yet delightful sense of humor). Just a week ago, Dr. Francis performed abdominal surgery on me. Again, I was reminded of his warmth and kindness, and his obvious genuine concern for his patients. This man is truly a gem for the Lafayette community and I am thrilled to have been able to have him here when I needed him. I cannot praise his intelligence and servant's spirit enough. Thank you, Dr. Francis!
