I was told by an optometrist I needed cataract surgery. My wife had had this done previously by another doctor and was not very happy. So I researched carefully, and finally narrowed my search down to Dr. Galanis. The first exam was extraordinarily thorough. I am a photographer, and was extremely concerned, but was informed the procedure anticipated would both correct my deteriorating vision and address my glaucoma issues. The left eye was corrected first and results were astounding (to me!) Then the right eye followed three weeks later. While healing went a little slower, it too is now functioning amazingly. I have some astigmatism, and it will be corrected by glasses, which I don't mind since I have worn them for 60+ years anyhow. My wife has also had her eyes examined by another physician in Dr. Galanis' office, and she too is amazed at the thoroughness and caring attitude shown by all. Vitals needs more stars to properly evaluate Dr. Galanis and his staff!

Dr. John Galanis was very helpful and understanding. Would definitely not go anywhere else now. His staff is very courteous and helpful.

Kind, caring, courteous, he listens to the patient, never pushes a patient in the wrong direction. I've been a patient for nearly 20 years and haven't been steered wrong yet.

Intelligent doctor that correctly diagnosed and treated my ailment. Would highly suggest Dr. Galanis for any eye problem.

I cannot say enough kind words about Dr. Galanis. His kind caring manner pales in comparison to his incredible surgical skills. I do not understand the previous posting as Dr. Galanis is an eye surgeon and would not be operating on a shoulder.
