Dr. John Adams Gallalee, MD

When he said "I believe you" that was the moment I knew I was in a safe place. Dr. Gallalee saved my life. He likes to say I saved my own, but it was him. He helped me leave an emotionally and physically abusive relationship. It was a safe harbor. I was raising two daughters at the time and he is who I went to for advice when I needed truth. I have been through a lot with him. Without him I don't think I would be here today. Everyday I thank god for blessing me with all the right people who I meet that help lead me to being a better me.

Never got into office -I called to schedule an appointment as a first time patient for a family member I had left four messages in a time period of a week and half and was not given the courtesy of a phone call back-very unprofessional seems as though not a caring person to not return someone's call especially when they left a detailed message with every call

Have been to several MDs as I moved around the country over the last 12 years. Dr. Gallalee picked up on symptom my doctors, family and I missed over the years. He switched up medication and has had dramatically positive impact on me and on my family. A great doctor in my experience.

I moved an hour away from his office but still wanted to see him because I trusted him. He ended up dropping me as a patient after a few months saying I didn't see him enough and he didn't feel comfortable. He cares more about liability than his actual patients. He felt more comfortable leaving me high and dry as a bipolar patient with no other way of receiving prescriptions for my meds ththan seeing me a little less frequently than before. That makes no sense. But it does make sense for him because he cares more about money and saving his own reputation than his patients. Do not trust him.

I would never recommend this doctor to someone who is emotionally unstable. He is incredibly insensitive. Look around for someone else.

Never left a review on a dr before but since I have had pretty negative experiences in the past I felt compelled to review this one. Highly recommend this psychiatrist. Very patient, understanding, and easy to talk to. Helping me work through the recent loss of parents and some early traumas in life never dealt with as well as a bipolar diagnosis. Finding the right meds has been tricky but I am confident I have the right doctor. The other ones just took my money and left me feeling confused. Finally on the right track. Highly recommend him. If you want a dr who actually listens and cares he's the one.
