Dr. John Gambino, MD

Rude and dismissive. His pompous attitude caused him to completely miss a cancer diagnosis. He was dismissive to me and the radiology technician. He refused to do a biopsy on the premise that in his opinion my swollen lymph nodes were insignificant. He refused to listen to anything that I said. He was rude and basically told me not to waste his time on swollen lymph nodes. He told me not to worry about it as long as I was “feeling fine“. He made me feel stupid for worrying about my health. The swelling never went away so I went back to my primary doctor, who had originally requested the biopsy. He referred me to a different doctor, who immediately was concerned and sent me for a CT scan. He ordered a biopsy which revealed that I had malignant lymphoma. Had Dr. Gambino not been so full of himself, and had he taken the time to listen to me or even to listen to the radiology technician, he might not have missed this important diagnosis. His holier than thou attitude leads him to be… negligent as a doctor. I would not recommend him. If you do choose to see him, I would definitely get a second opinion.
