Dr. John W. Gebert, a Board-certified radiation oncologist (American Board of Radiology, Therapeutic Radiology), comes to Malone after serving as Medical Director in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska for the past six years. For close to 20 years prior to his appointment in Nebraska, Dr. Gebert served in a number of professional capacities at Doctor’s Medical Center in Modesto, CA, Valley Medical Center in Modesto, CA, and other hospitals and medical centers in California and Thailand. He was also a clinical assistant professor of radiation oncology at the University of Southern California, a frequent guest lecturer, and author of a number of clinical papers. In his new position with the Reddy Cancer Treatment Center, Dr. Gebert will assume a leadership role in cancer care for Franklin County residents. In addition, he will lead the team at the Reddy Center and guide the direction of oncology at AHMC.
