An exceptional physician. He took time to tell me the dangers of melanoma, what to look for in mole changes, and thoroughly answered all of my other questions. I am very impressed with his professionalism. His office staff was curteous and prompt. I would highly recommend Dr. Gebhard.

I went to Dr. Gebhard 15 years ago to check a mole I noticed was changing. He snipped it off and sent it to the lab. The results came back "melanoma" and the margins were not clear. The next day Dr. Gebhard surgically removed more tissue and the lab results finally came back with clear margins.Since then, Dr. Gebhard watches me like a hawk. I go back every 6 months for skin checks. One visit years later he became suspicious of another mole and snipped it for lab work. It came back "melanoma" and once again he had to surgically remove a little more tissue. He said if either mole and surrounding tissue had not been removed, I would have been dead in 2 years.Yes, the office itself is old, but I'll take Dr. Gebhard's expert vigilance any day, even if I had to go see him in a shack. The office staff is very efficient. Most of them are the same people I saw during my first visit 15 years ago. It means virtually no waiting every time I go there.
