Dr. John Daniel Gentry, MD

I have had a great experience with virtual appointments with Dr. Gentry over the past year. He is outcome-oriented, so he worked with me to find a medication plan that turned my depression and anxiety completely around. He's realistic about what's possible and easy to talk with, and he worked in tandem with my therapist to ensure I was getting what I needed.

I went to Dr. Gentry because I was experiencing depression. He told me I did not look depressed? I agree with the person who called him robotic and lacking compassion. I would not recommend.

Dr. Gentry is a robotic, impersonal, unsympathetic psychiatrist who does not listen to what the patient says and needs, but has his own agenda learned in textbooks. Dr. Gentry is extremely lucky that he does not have a psychiatric problem. But, maybe, he would be more caring and compassionate if he truly understand mental problems.
