Dr. John Edward Godwin, MD

This doctor is full of excrement. He misdiagnosed me. Ultimately, his carelessness has costed me my life. Stay as far away from this doctor as humanly possible.

An outstanding example of the medical profession what every doctor should aspire to be, he had a way of putting your needs first and it was genuine, a truly caring and compassionate man. While I was under his care all my fears were put to rest the only bad thing I can say...is that he left Springfield IL and moved to Portland OR he is truly missed. I'll always remember my husband and me on our first visit I was terrified, we hadn't expected I would have to have radiation and chemo after major surgery he explained everything very clearly and fighting back my tears he simply put his arms around me gave me a hug and said don't worry will get you through this....If I had not been able to speak with him each and every treatment I wouldn't have had the courage to go on. Words can not convey the sadness of loosing a Doctor of his caliper but should you be in a position that you must see this Doctor...trust him he has your best interest at heart.

Dr. Godwin was a messenger from heaven for Gods miracle for my sister. My sister has a stage 4 cancer together with many infectious diseases due to low immune system. Dr. Godwin a true maessenger and Ture Dr. who is here on this earth to help the helpless. His sprit by itself together with his love for the poor, the sick and hopeless provided the healing power in our case . He worked on her wound without hesitating when everybody else gave up on her . My sister is still alive after 3 years of stage 4 cancer. We will always love you Dr God win.

Dr. G. is the best dr. I have EVER had with a sense of humor, TLC, bedside manner, explains everything clearly, tries to answer all and any questions, takes time with me, examines me, just the cream of the crop the best dr. one could ever have. Easy going, smile is infectious, serious when needed, but I prefer the sense of humor and TLC he exudes.

I am forever greatful for Dr. Godwin and his medical advice. He has always taken into account my best interest and well being. I now travel almost 3 hours to maintain his influence in my health.
