Dr Gonzolvo is a great surgeon, very compassionate and has a great bedside manner. I would highly recommend him!

Hands down the best bariatric surgeon! He is knowledgeable and very friendly, truly cares about his patients. I trust him completely for any and all bariatric needs.

I had a four surgeries back to back due to complications incurred. The first 3 were done by a surgeon that ...well...thank goodness for Dr. Gonzalvo who took over that surgeons practice and did a fourth life saving surgery for me...at a time I did not believe I would live much longer. I know what dying feels like...and because of him the joy of finding out I wouldn't. He is the most incredible person. He is calm, sensitive, caring, and he listens. He is my hero and has all of my thankfulness, respect and admiration . He will always be my surgeon. He is the best!!

I trust this man with my life...and he's saved it. I will be returning to him for a surgery needed in the future. I have never met a more caring competent surgeon/physician in all of my medical need year~! PM

Im battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer and am struggling with potentially doing chemo all though I know it won't cure me. Dr. Gonzalvo is more like the devils advocate. He gave me a list of questions to ask the oncologist before making my decision and lists the pros and cons of both getting or declining chemo. My oncologist continually shoves chemo down my throat while dr. Gonzalvo listens and offers different options. He spends time answering the questions he can answer for me while not involving his opinion but just facts. His office staff is absolutely wonderful!!! He truly is a godsend!

My appointment was at 330pm and the office called me to come in an hour early.so I did and I waited 20 minutes before anyone comes in, so then I waited 20 minutes for the doctor that did not come in. then I left enough was enough my time is important.

Dr. Gonzalvo is a top notch surgeon. Very happy with my choice! Although he is sometimes quick with his visits, he answers all questions asked. There us no nonsense with him, he puts everything out there for you whether it's good or bad. His office staff are terrific too. I agree with the previous post....never knock a surgeon because you are angry about money! I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Gonzalvo did my WLS and was attentive to my needs and an excellent surgeon. I have had a wonderful recovery and follow up care. I would highly recommend him as a Surgeon in his field of expertise.

I saw the other review on Dr. Gonzalvo and feel that was a very unfair rating over the fee that they were charged because this was not about the money at all but what a great Dr and staff are in this office. I was told up front about the fee, it is actually $500 cheaper them the other Drs I have seen. And I might add, worth it. The office staff was so nice and professional; they informed me of everything I needed. I went to several other places that made the surgery I was going to get, so confusing, as far as the process went to get approved. Not here, the office staff have walked me thru every step. FINALLY!!! someone that cares enough to do that. Dr. Gonzalvo is so knowledgeable and he answered all my questions and concerns. He is good Dr and I have all the faith in the world in him. Again, please don't rate this Dr and office staff over the money issues the other reviewer had, its not fair to them.
