Dr. John Gordon, MD

I first met Dr. Gordon when I needed gallbladder surgery in September 2023. He was the general surgeon for EJGH. My gallbladder stone was so big that the gallbladder was just basically an encasement for the stone. The surgery, although high risk because of my other underlying conditions, was done laparoscopically. The stone had to be removed from the gallbladder and crushed in a bag before it could be taken out through one of the laparoscopic incisions. He did an amazing job and I had no problems or complications with because of his skilled hands. He is a brilliant doctor who cares about his patients, has a great bedside manner, empathy, and encouragement when his patients need it the most. I would not hesitate for a minute to recommend Dr. Gordon to anyone in need of surgery. You would definitely be in excellent hands.

Dr. Gordon and Christy went above and beyond to help me with an allergy issue affecting my procedure. They are kind and caring and make everything as comfortable as possible. I could not have asked for a better situation or doctor. They helped me wade through a confusing situation and took things one step at a time. I am very grateful to them.

He's a great surgeon; saved my husband and me, too!

Dr Gordon name was given to me, after finding out I had breast cancer. Very rough time in my life. There was so many visit to him. I can't recall anytime when I was there that I felt uncomfortable. The staff has always been sweet and helpful, his assist Cristy is AWESOME. I know he did everything he had to to treat me for my illness. I had all kinds of test, scans, biopsy etc... He doesn't beat around the bush, he tell you what needs to be done PERIOD Needless to say I needed him for another problem, totally different. He was in the hospital for me. I can't say enough about him and Cristy. Plus it doesn't hurt that he is eye candy. LOL I would recommend him to anyone.

I feel Dr. Gordon was very concerned about my condition and treatment was me with the best treatment plan. I do recommend him...

Dr Gordon may be a good doctor, but perhaps he is too busy to properly care for all of his patients... The obvious impression is that he either does not have enough time to be a good health care provider or perhaps simply does not care about his patients.
