Dr. John Phillip Gravino, DO

I have been a patient of Dr. Gravino's for 5 years and I have received excellent care. He is very attentive to what I say and thoroughly answers my questions.

I am one of those that avoid doctors most of my life. I had a knee issue that forced me to see a doctor. Coworkers recommend Dr. Gravino and i made an appointment. He was nothing less than very professional, intently listened to all i had to say and recommended a course of action, including seeing a specialist/surgeon. I will agree that sometimes the wait can be extensive, cut i have never felt rushed and he always showed concern for my visit. At one point, he even called me on my cell about 4 hours after leaving his office because he knew i wanted to know soon as possible some test results. Imagine that, a doctor who cares....he does and i will continue to see Dr. Gravino and recommend highly recommend him.

Avoid this "doctor" like the plague. He and his nurse are very rude and act very put out to do their job. They have no empathy for their patients and little concern for their health care. The services provided versus what they bill the insurance companies border on fraud. Like most doctors, they over schedule patients and you will find yourself waiting for over an hour just to get into an exam room. Once the nurse takes your vitals and ignores everything you've said, expect to wait at least another half hour before the doctor sees you and you are rushed out the door with most of your concerns ignored. Cha-ching, another copay collected, another insurance claim filed. Good luck if you need to have any MRIs approved or referrals to be made in a timely manner. If you don't mind forking over your hard earned money to be treated like cattle, this is the doctor for you. I will say that the staff at the front desk are very nice, perhaps they could teach Gravino and his nurse proper… customer/patient service and bedside manner.

I had a positive experience during my appointment and I recommend this physician.

He was rude, impatient, didn't want to spend time with patient, couldn't find previous file and snapped at patient when he didn't know what kind of allergy medicine "He" prescribed him two years ago.
