Dr. Grothe is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, and the Hernando County Dental Association and was formerly the president of the Hernando County Dental Association.
He and his wife Molly have two children, Sara and Carson. Together they enjoy fishing, scuba diving, camping, and riding motorcycles
