Dr. John Michael Hale, MD

Dr.Hale has the best bedside manner Ever. Hes very thorough and I hope to be his patient for Life.

Long story short.. Through my teen and 20's I complained to him time and again of severe pain and cramps during periods. He did nothing. He knew I was taking 16 plus advil a day.. and said the pain can't be that bad. What I found out is if my pain would have been handled .. And tests ran and diagnosis made it would not have caused infertility issues quite possibly. The endometriosis was allowed to grow for all the years I went to Dr Hale. No tears from me hearing this news.

Dr Hale, If you can read this I hope you do. I do know you had the fall and that you were injured. You were treating me during my 3rd pregnacy and you were very honest with me that you would not be able to deliver my baby due to if I were to have complications you could not pull the baby out due to your injury though you could still see me for my well check ups until the baby was born. Dr Hale you are a fine man and have always been true to me and I beleave I even told you one time that you were an angel for women. You made a mistake? So you're Human? I can live with that! I'm actually glad to have read what happened. I was very worried about you and what had happened to you. So glad to hear that you are ok. Hope you were able to recover from the injuries from the fall you took. So if you are ever going to see paitents again please find a way to let us know, many of your patients would be thrilled. And to anyone reading this if you know Dr John Hale you understand what i am… saying, If you don't know him, you wouldn't understand so just pass this over!!!

I admit I made a grave error. This was a one time mistake before I had 2 weeks off in Haiti. It had nothing to do with patient care. I took the oral morphine for pain, not the high, since I broke my collar bone, 7 ribs, chipped 2 vertebrae, suffered a concussion, and a small pneumothorax earlier in the summer. I took Advil earlier in the day and it did no good. We get medication donated to us for Haiti. In the box were an empty bottle and a half full bottle (about 5-10 cc) of oral morphine. Since I was still in a great deal of pain (the 20 Percocet they gave me leaving the hospital ran out) I took the pain medication. I did not take it from a supply for our trips. It would have been discarded. It was too strong for me so I ended up in the ER. When I returned from Haiti, Aurora and I decided it was a good idea to part ways, which was a good thing. So here I am. I have my license and still go to Haiti. I am much happier today than I was when I worked at Aurora. Throughout this situation… I have never lied nor shirked the responsibility. I am still committed to good patient care independent of income and production factors.

He was my doctor for over 10 years. He delivered my 3 kids and i saw him for every illness or problem in between. I pray he'll continue practicing if he can. Has anyone head anything?

I have heard that Dr. Hale is no longer with Aurora in Green Bay. I was so sad about this, Aurora simply calls and tells me that I have to reschedule my appt because my Dr is no longer with them!! Not too classy of a way to handle it. I have had Dr. Hale for over 20 years and now he is gone, no explanation of any kind! I have many health issues and he has always been very calming to me and made me feel like a real person that he cared about, he never made me feel like a number!! He made all of his patientes feel they were his favorite! I have heard he left because he loves going to Haitii and giving up his free time, with no pay to help the families there who have no health care at all. If I was Aurora, I would of been so proud of him for doing this ,he was even on the news on tv. I was proud of him for doing this! I would love to know he is now because I would try to get in with him. But they give us no reason why he left or where he went. Aurora is not putting the patient… first, and we as patients are feeling it.

I just recently found out that Dr. Hale is leaving Aurora, I actually cried when I heard this. It is so hard for me to start over with a new Dr, I have many health issues and he was always so kind and caring and gave me as much time as I wanted with him. I was one of his first patients when he came to Aurora. There are not many Dr's like him. He even gave some time up for his trips to Haiti, Aurora should of been so proud of him for doing that kind of thing, I know I was very proud of him as my Dr. It seems that Aurora might of given him a hard time for taking off time to helping these poor people in Haiti!? That does not seem right at all. They should of done everything they could to keep a Dr like Dr.Hale. I have no idea why he is leaving but I can guess it is because of Politics of some kind going on. The Medical field has become a business, and we the patient are feeling that! Although, I never felt it from Dr. Hale, he always made me feel like a very special patient and that… I was important.
