Dr. John Michael Harper, MD

Only doctor who really listens and responds to my questions and does not rush through appointment. Very knowledgeable and courteous and speaks in English and doesn't use a lot of medical jargon. Would recommend him to anyone.

I chose this doctor based on lengthy experience, that a mistake. I thought i was a on a prank tv show because half of the time he talked he had his eyes closed and slouched in his chair. He seemed very lost and repeats himself very often. I was very unhappy about the visit considering having to pay $30 co pay. I think its about time to retire.

Direct, honest, open and caring.

In all fairness this was my first visit to Dr. Harper. He was thorough and explained everything and seemed pleasant enough. He is sending me for a stress test. I waited a good while to be seen ....about an hour. The staff was not particularly pleasant except for the lady who drew the blood.

He took the time to answer all my questions before sugery and after surgery.

He was all over the place with the treatment plan - a negative stress test and he wanted to treat for indigestion for a month before doing further testing

This doctor doesn't listen, doesn't explain anything, wasn't well prepared with available info during appointments, and kept telling himself that he should mark something down so he wouldn't forget. He also told me that I have "moderate" aorta leakage which turned out to be "mild" when I saw another heart specialist..He also put me on a medication to lower my blood pressure, which is alrerady low! ,and the second heart doctor shook his head. It's time for this doctor to retire.

Does not listen. Takes too long to perform a heart cath.
