Dr. John Charles Hart, MD

My wife recently had cataract surgery by Dr Hart. I’ve been a practicing physician for over forty years. In all that time as a professional, I have never encountered such poor bedside manner. His surgical skills are not at issue but the coldness and indifference that my wife was treated to was unprecedented. There’s no reason that a doctor shouldn’t be a good surgeon AND a compassionate one. Good luck finding that combination in Dr Hart.

Had been seeing Dr. Hart for several years. Was satisfied with how I was treated until today. I was there for yearly exam but not refraction. I see an optometrist for that as that is their expertise. I was there for 2.5 hours for what last year took about a little over an hour. Testing rooms were not readily available so I had to wait and I was willing to wait. In the exam room Dr. Hart came in with a medical student and he mainly gave all of his attention to her throughout the exam which was the briefest part of my time there. If I didn't interrupt with questions the only info I would have received is from his conversation with her. He needs to wake up. I am not saying that he should not have talked to the medical student, but THE PATIENT IS THE CUSTOMER WHO BRINGS REVENUE INTO THE PRACTICE, WHICH IS A BUSINESS. PATIENTS ARE CUSTOMERS. They need to be treated as such. I am taking my business elsewhere.

Disappointed in the service that was provided had to get my glasses made up twice and they were still not correct. Found the office staff not to empathic to my concerns. Overall, would not return their for any services or recommend this practice to others.

Dr Hart runs his practice very efficiently and professionally. His staff is great and obviously follows his example. He is very knowledgable, answers questions completely, and gives you a sense that he cares. Ii'm very glad to be his patient.

Dr. Hart's office is run very efficiently. Dr Hart performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes with no pain or complications. I highly recommend Dr. Hart.

Dr Hart did my lasik surgery many years ago. I was extremely near sighted. The surgery was very easy, and I've never had even one single problem.

He saved my eyesight and restored my vision

The office slipped us in when we told them our concerns, so they listened well and we got service. Dr. Hart was very good explaining the diagnosis and what to expect or not expect. He was rushed and didn't want to re-explain since the patient was nervous and wanted soothing, however, we were lucky to get a quick appointment at the last minute. The staff was excellent with a lot of information and patience. We felt taken care of even if a little rushed out.
