Dr. John Alan Hart, MD

We have been seeing Dr. Hart for over 24 years. I could not ask for a better doctor for my children. He is always knowledgeable but he isn't afraid to send patients to specialist if necessary. Wouldn't want anyone else treating my kids.

Love Dr. Hart, he is amazing with children and very knowledgable.

The nurses are wonderful, staff always polite. Get same day appointment everytime I call. Dr. Hart usually runs on time and is always willing to take time and discuss any concerns. My kids love him!

Dr. Hart listened every time I brought my son in and helped me to cope with his illness. Would reccomend to anyone.

Dr. Hart was kind and patient when I had to call him during the night with a sick child. He knew the 24 hour pharmacies and was through when he examined my child the next morning.

Takes fantastic care of my child

We had ongoing problems with misdiagnosis of my children, and nonprescription of correct medicine for the illness. Also, consistently tried to prescribe non-formulary drugs, and would argue against generic. Most of my visits to him resulted in a misdiagnosis, which an emergency room doctor at OSF (Saint Anthony) would often correct (and, generally, with generic drugs).We switched doctors with respect to one of my children's repeat ear infections that never seemed to clear up under his care, and that switch, we found out when she went in for surgery, saved her hearing.Also, when we switched doctors, he and his office tried to charge me an exorbitant amount for transfer of records. This was, however, and after much argument, resolved, and the charges waived.
