Dr. John Haskell Hayden, MD

Dr. Hayden and his staff have always been very professional in treating illnesses. He shows concern for the patient's problems and listens closely to all of the patient's concerns.. The only problem that we have is that you can not get anyone to answer the phone and if you leave a message it will take at least a day to get a response.

Short wait time. Friendly staff that is always eager to help.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hayden’s for many years. He has always been professional, interested, concerned and helpful. I have and will recommend him to others.

I have been a patient of this physician and practice for almost 10 years. I have had terrible experiences with them over the course of this time and I'm not one to complain or cause a fuss. However, there comes a breaking point for everyone. The physician does not truly listen to your symptoms and its a horrible feeling like you don't have a "voice" when it comes to your health. I actually had to bring my husband with me to one of my appointments for them to take me serious about the symptoms I was having. You should not have to bring in a "witness" to your symptoms for your provider to actually give you the proper care you deserve. Also, the staff there is extremely rude. The people sitting behind the desk should not be the first people a patient comes into contact with because that starts the visit out with a horrible experience. Wait times are ridiculously long. It is hard to get in touch with nurses and get responses back in a timely manner. I would not recommend this… physician or practice to my family or anyone else. Please look for different options IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

You are well educated I’m assuming Dr. Hayden, meaning you should be well educated with what’s called “morals”. How you present yourself, how you carry yourself in public is very vital if you are a Medical professional. I’m very disappointed by recent actions that you have displayed. As a doctor I would have expected more class from you. I am involved in many medical businesses in the Orangeburg Area, where I refer patients to medical professionals. My suggestion, which is just some good constructive criticism, learn how to carry yourself, and treat others or you & your business will go right down the drain. Thank you.

Dr. Hayden was rude and abrupt. He has no bedside manner. Had to ask him questions about what I had and medicine he was prescribing. He showed no interest in me as a patient/person. He spent all of five minutes with me. The pharmacy called his office twice and left messages because the medicine could interfere with another medicine I'm taking and cause heart issues. I had to call his office back also because they wouldn't answer the phone for the pharmacy or me. Three days later I received a certified letter stating he was releasing me as his patient. What doctor does that? How does RMC keep him on as one of their doctors? I worked at RMC for years and we were there to help patients, not upset them.

I brought my aging parents to him about a year ago ..so far he and his staff have done BARE MINIMUM for either of them ..BUT NOT AFRAID TO MILK THE MEDICARE/ MEDICAID SYSTEM..I am in the process of seeking another family physician for them ASAP..

My first visit also my husband's. Both of us were very happy with staff and doctor. He asked question and answered questions.
