Dr. John Kevin Heifner, MD

He is one of the very best. He was always available to answer questions. I eventually got a heart and kidney transplant but I look forward to my visit with him for follow up visits and he made sure I understand my plans for future treatments. I wouldn’t trade him in.

Dr. Heifner is currently seeing my mother who is being treated for cancer as well, so she has a host of physicians. Above all, he is very patient and has one of the best bedside manners I have ever experienced. He took time to explain the issues she was having and how he would treat it, even drew pictures. He sat and spoke directly with her to ensure she was understanding him, yet very respectfully as an older adult should be treated. She is very, very pleased with her care and looks forward to her visits with him...this is totally new for her as she. She has been nothing but positive things to say about her relationship with Dr. Heifner and his staff. The new medications have even improved one of her chronic illnesses, which pleases both of us. I am so grateful for him and the great care he has given my mother.
