Summary
Dr. Hersman went to medical school at the University of Minnesota. He received his Internal Medicine training at the Medical College of Wisonsin in Milwaukee, and his Hematology/Oncology training at the University of Washington and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. He has been caring for patients in Renton since 1982, and treats the full spectrum of patients with Hematology and Oncology diseases. During his tenure at Valley Medical Center he has served as co-chairman of the Cancer Committee, and was Medical Director of Hospice of Seattle from 1994 to 2004. He is married with 2 grown children. In his spare time he enjoys golf, fishing, travel and playing with his grandchildren.
