Each year Dr.Highfull got worse and worse!

This doctor can be described as "doing the minimum to get by." He has no genuine concern for his patients, asks no questions, never reevaluates medications and bullies you if you are too "needy." Once when I was calling about stomach pain, his receptionist told me he was too busy to speak with me because he had patients "with real problems who were more important " . I later ended up in the hospital for a perforated ulcer. I would never recommend this doctor and would give him zero stars if I could.

I have worked in health care for over 20 years. I have seen a lot of bad physicians but this man is the absolute worst. his ignorance is only precluded by his arrogance. he WebMD patients symptom ologies and becomes belligerent if you have multiple problems. I would not send an enemy's dog to this guy.I can't believe I actually paid that amount of money for that poor of a doctor.

Explained condition to nurse when scheduling appointment but she scheduled it anyway. Highfill came in, said I can't help you; he then charged the full price for visit. The office was supposed to contact a specialist and set up appointment; when I called a week later, I was told "his nurse will call you." THE CALL NEVER CAME

Unfortunately very self centered man. Doesn't acknoowledge you as having a brain. I have been going to him for a couple of years. When I present my symptoms he always blames my diabetes! I have very serious digestive problem and he just will not listen!! I do not even trust for referrals. Now I have to see a gastrologist on my own!

I have been with Dr. John Highfill for many years now and I think he is great! Easy to get in to see him, friendly staff and he listens to my concerns and is very knowledgeable. Great bedside manners and I will continue to go to him.

I'm sorry I had to give him one star! This man who calls himself a doctor doesn't know the meaning of the word. Combative. Doesn't want to be questioned. Cares more about billing than the health of his patients. I suppose he could be good w kids as previous post indicates. I hope their healthy ad he won't dig to find a causation or cure! The man is a quack!

I am not satisfied with Dr. Highfill's attitude or manner. He is short, abrupt and not willing to listen to me or discuss my health needs.
