I went to Dr. John M. Highsmith years ago. I met him doing community theater. He gave me a discount "as a friend", He caused considerable damage to three of my teeth by putting in temporary fillings which soon fell out. He also performed a root canal which I do not think was necessary. I did not go back to him to fix this work because I was travelling. Those teeth have never fully recovered from that visit. I agree with those who say he is all about THE MONEY. I would also add that he is a little bit on the sadistic side.
