I had an excellent experience with my plastic surgeon from start to finish. From the initial consultation, they were patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to really understand my goals. They explained every step of the process clearly, including risks, recovery, and expected results, which made me feel confident and well-prepared. The surgery itself went smoothly, and the results exceeded my expectations. I appreciated how attentive and supportive the entire team was throughout my recovery—they were always available to answer questions and made me feel genuinely cared for. What stood out most was the surgeon’s professionalism, skill, and eye for detail. I never felt pressured, and everything was handled with honesty and transparency. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering a similar procedure.

Dr. Hijjawi is a GREAT doctor! He made the process of going through breast cancer, surgery, and recovery bearable. He has a wonderful demeanor, explains everything in a way that is understandable. He helps you to determine what is best for you and your situation by explaining options and allowing you to choose for you and your body!

I had revised breast implant surgery with Dr. Hijjawi. I have never been more grateful for him and for my decision to go with him after having horrible results with a previous surgeon. After having a prophylactic double mastectomy and two different implant surgeries that were horribly done with the previous surgeon, I thought I would never look or feel good again. As soon as I met Hijjawi, I knew I would be in good hands. Not only did he listen, but he showed empathy and concern for me and my feelings. I was nervous going in for a third breast implant surgery, but I have been blown away with the results. He fixed what I thought was forever destroyed. I feel like myself again and that is such a great feeling. I am so grateful for Dr. Hijjawi! He truly is a magical surgeon!

No words can express how much I recommend Dr. Hijjawi! I’ve always had back pain, headaches in the back of my head and shoulder pain. I finally took the plunge and went to Dr. Hijjawi to have a breast reduction done, best decision I have ever made! First, he didn’t just treat me like another patient/paycheck. He cared and listened to me. Secondly, he did an amazing job on my surgery. This was my first time ever having surgery and it was the best first surgery. I had a nerve block done and I was off pain meds within days. Tylenol was perfect to manage the pain. After 2 weeks, I was off all meds completely. If you are wanting a Brest reduction and think “oh I should lose weight first.” WRONG!! Just get it done. I feel so much better. Dr. Hijjawi is your man!

I had a preventative bilateral mastectomy with DIEP flap reconstruction and am happy with the results. I found Dr. Hijjawi to be passionate about breast cancer patients, honest, personable and skilled. It was comforting how he and his staff worked through the challenges of COVID. I'm glad I took the recommendation of Dr. Reading and made that initial appointment with Dr. Hijjawi. It was a long process but worth it.

I had a breast reduction with a nipple graft on sept 1st 2020. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I absolutely recommend Dr. Hijjawi to anyone considering having this surgery. I wish I hadn’t put it off for so long. I had zero complications, surgery and recovery (5weeks post op now) have been textbook. I was concerned about have the nipple graft, but he explained why it would be for the best,I trusted him, and it turned out great! No complications with them healing. He listened to what I wanted, and gave me a great size and shape! I never felt rushed, the whole staff has been wonderful. I went from a 34J to a 36D, had 5-1/2 lbs removed. If you’re thinking about getting the surgery, go with Dr. Hijjawi, you will be in great hands.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Hijjawi for the last 2 years. I was originally diagnosed with stage 2 BC and 2 years later with stage 4. During this process I have loved my cancer team at Intermountain Healthcare, but Dr. Hijjawi and his staff have a very special place in my heart. From my first consultation to each of my check-ups, he and his staff are always friendly, professional, and have great bedside manner. I did have a brief stint with plastic surgeons at Huntsman because of change if insurance. While the surgeons, residence, and nurses seemed competent to perform my surgery, I felt like I was a number of specimen to them. At Dr. Hijjawi’s office they were totally empathetic about my situation and have their rooms set up for patients to feel dignified during, at times, are undignified situations (ex: have separate room to take pictures with a female nurse, outside of exam room (doesn’t seem like a big deal, but Needless to say, I held off with my surgery until I was able to get… insurance to see Dr. Hijjawi. Im part of a few breast cancer support groups, and several of us have had high praise for Dr. Hijjawi and have recommended him to other newly diagnosed members. He really is committed to his profession, competent, and honest. I’ve been so happy with my surgeries, care, and results so far. I know I’m fangirling (aka: a total Stan) about Dr. Hijjawi, but he has been vital to my cancer care.
