Dr. John David Hinze, DO

Dr Hinze performed 2 surgeries on my daughter within a 2 month period and did a wonderful job. She had scar tissue from having a trach and was having problems breathing. He kept me informed during the surgeries and was extremely attentive. I'd recommend Dr Hinze anytime.

Dr John David Hinze saved my husband's life during covid in March 2021. He is absolutely amazing. The best pulmonologist around. Thank you Dr. Hinze. Miss you already in Austin!!!

He is arrogant and he was horrible to my daughter and my family while my daughter was dying. She was stroking out and he told me she was faking and told us and her nurses to leave her alone. She died on his watch because he was so horrible to her. I have PTSD due to this doctor. Horrible person and worst doctor. My daughter was 45 and became an angel May 2022. We only had Dr Hinze because he was on duty in the ER when she was admitted. Don’t use this terrible doctor. No stars at all. I had to give 1 star or it wouldn’t recognize my review.

As the father of a critically ill patient I would advise seeking another doctor. Dr. Hinze is not the right Dr. If you are chronically ill. He is a great clinician but also a great liar. He will promise the world and deliver little. Everything is about him. Appointments are months out. Did unethical things that should get him fired.

My only contact with Dr Hinze has been in the hospital. He was involved in my husband's care on more than one occasion. And I will forever regret allowing him to continue to be involved in his care. As a physician myself, I can only say the Dr Hinze displays the worst type of arrogance, and is unable to think of anyone but himself.
