He didn’t seem like he knew anything about hip pain. He should have seemed me to a hip doctor. X-ray only of spine not the hips which which is where my pain is. No one calls you back. He doesn’t seem to take older people seriously.

The most racist bigoted doc I have ever mrt. Dangerously ignorant of current medical practices and simply does not cate. This man has brought so much pain and suffering Inot my home and the homes of others. Consider someone safe and decent? There are plenty o physicians out there ...find another?

Was scheduled for a f/u visit 6 days after being in hospital for pericarditis. Wasn't well at home and missed their reminder alert phone call. When going back thru my messages I realized I had missed their call. So I called in 1/2 hr ahead of my scheduled visit to reschedule my appointment. Was met with a stern unapologetic receptionist saying that than because I wasn't there 30 min before my scheduled visit they canceled my visit and informed me I could not reschedule ever again ! I am a physician myself and can attest that this is an extremely rigid way to manage a practice. Reading through other comments this response shouldn't be a surprise. it suggests this guy has an overinflated idea of his credential, has little empathy for the sick and is very materialistic in his entire approach to the practice of medicine. This isn't the sort of physician one can rely on if ill.

Doctor Hornsby was the oncall doctor for his practice and it took him 3 HOURS TO CALL ME BACK. Then when he did call me back, he had the nerve to have an attitude with me. I contacted his answering service at 6 p.m and he did not call me back until 9 pm. Unprofessional, rude, disrespectful!!!

dr. hornsby is a very caring doctor, i have several serious health problems and i have had several dr. in my life and john is one of the best.

Dr. Hornsby is good for basic everyday colds. Other then that he is sloppy and uncaring. As long as you are not sick he Is fine. But if you have significant issues he is cold, aloof, and lazy. If you have chronic issues you are a 'problem patient'. Jerk!
