Dr. John Hruby, MD

Dr. Hruby had been my doctor for many years, 16 years to be exact. Since the first appointment I had with him he was very professional but very personable. He truly cared about the patient sitting across from him as they are important & he helped me see that. He was so easy to open up to about what was really going on beneath the surface. He listened well & addressed each & every concern I ever had. When I made some terrible life choices & ended up checking myself into inpatient treatment he was ready to cheer on the smarter clean & sober woman he knew I could be. He ALWAYS had the right things to say when I would say negative things about myself & he spoke the truth & it was genuine. He helped me understand the unique individual I am & helped me be ok with that person instead of tear myself apart. There is so much more to say but I will end with this statement. Dr. Hruby is irreplaceable. As I type this I have tears streaming down my face & they won't stop. I don't think he will ever… truly know how much he means to me & just how much he helped me during the time I was fortunate enough to be his patient. Happy Retirement Dr. Hruby! You deserve this amazing time in your life! I'm heartbroken I didn't get to say goodbye before you retired. I didn't know it had happened until you were gone. By then it was too late to tell you thank you with all of my heart for helping me come to a place of accepting & loving the unique woman that I am regardless of any tools I may have to use to get things done!
