Dr. John Buford Hendricks Hudson, MD

I called to speak to the manager Pam. She took over a week to return my call after I called multiple times. I even came into the office to speak to get but I was told she was busy. I seen her sitting down laughing and talking on her cell phone, eating and laughing with the staff but was"too busy" to help me with my concern. My lab charged my over $700 due to incorrect codes that the office refused to fix. The whole staff is clueless and unprofessional! My plan of care had many misspelled words and didn't make any sense and it was something totally different then what I was you in office. The doctor obviously doesn't care enough to proof read what his Assistant writes. I was also given the wrong prescription which could've made me sick if my pharmacist didn't double check it before giving me the medicine.

This office is not professional! The staff is very rude, not knowledgeable, they sit around talking loud and I overheard a conversation talking down on patients. The office manager does not know how to run an office and she only cares about money and not the patients wellbeing. The assistants never answer the phone or return calls. They make many mistakes and even gave me the wrong paperwork of a different patient with all their info including social security number. You wait multiple hours to see the doctor and his new assistant doesn't know anything about his treatment. His previous nurse Kristen was amazing but it's not a surprise that she is no longer there because of the way she was treated. I do not recommend this office at all!

Don’t bother unless you have all day, the doctor consistently runs 1-2 hours late and they seem to think that’s okay and that not informing the patient is okay. Dr. Hudson was about an hour and a half late and I had to leave because I had another appointment scheduled, they charged me for the nurse taking my vitals even though when she came in she didn’t bother to inform me that he was running late either. I was referred to Dr. Hudson and hoped that he could help solve some things that I’ve been dealing with but I work a full-time job and I don’t have time to sit around and wait for him for hours, especially when the office staff does not bother to inform patients about the regular wait times.

Dr Hudson listens and is thourough. He has the WORST staff ever. So rude and they mess up on the regular. It’s always the patients fault. I still go to Hudson but dread dealing with staff.

Dr. Hudson and Elizabeth are great. My only concern is the people behind the counter, they keep changing and each time less friendlier than the previous group. What gives?

Since 1990, I've been battling the disease of CFS/CFIDS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome) and Fibromyalgia. I've seen more than a dozen Doctors about both. Many Doctors are 'lost' about these illnesses. Many I've seen have been very knowledgable as far as diagnosing it, most don't know how to treat the conditions. In my years of pursuing treatments for these, Dr Hudson has been the most knowledgable. He knows the condition, the differences that can happen from patient to patient. He's provided both natural and prescritive remedies, that are getting some clear results. I've had improvements in my condiion to states I never thought I'd ever see again. He frequently test/monitors my condition closely to adjust the treatment better that any Dr. I've had. He's also found what other Doctors, were treating improperly that they had misdiagnosed. He has done the tests needed to properly diagnose and to treat my other maladies. He's not afraid to say… he doesn't know and will check to find out if and how to find the answers. Then does what's needed. I was born in 1953, unfortunately have had many more medical problems than most. As a patient, my experience with doctors and specialists has been more than most people. I worked in hospital business management for many years. Dr Hudson is the best Family Doctor I've ever encountered. He's especially informed about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/CFS/CFIDS and Fibromyalgia; in both diagnosing and treating them. When I've had other medical problems he does what's necessary to find the answers, ASAP!

51 yo male. Went for check up. Never checked my PSA. If I would have stayed with Hudson I probably would have died . Changed partly to do with poor staff. New doctor found my PSA elevated and cholesterol was high. He was amazed previous Doctor never checked either one. Just had prostate biopsy. Waiting results now. Acting Doctor for his office had to be corrected with blood test results by my wife as Doctor was reading previous test results. WOW!!! This Doctor operates out of a house. Do the math. GOOD LUCK!

Office Manager, Bob Taylor, loves to pick fights with patients. He will violate your privacy rights by looking at your medical charts without asking. He will not pass along messages to medical staff but will inform you what the medical staff will do or will not do for you. If you have a miscommunication about your medication dosage and are trying to straighten it out, he will accuse you of being a 'manipulator' and trying to change your prescription. He dictates to you what your medical course should be instead of just taking a message to pass along to those who have the medical training. If you want to be insulted, mistreated, called names, yelled at, and dictated to by someone with no medical treatment whatsoever, please by all means, make an appointment today!

Enter at own risk!Front office staff is rude. They've messed up my billing on three occasions. Each time I called to clarify the problem, I was told there wasn't an issue and to disregard the invoice. 4 months and 2 OFFICE VISITS later, I'm receiving the same invoice I've had problems with before. This time they are threatening with collections. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing at this doctors office. The nurse practitioner also proscribed medication at a sub-therapeutic dose, which I only found out after consulting another doctors office when my problems were still persistent. My family and I will NEVER be returning.

This doctor was terrible. What kind of doctor ask what the problem is and while you are telling him he looks at his watch and says I'm sorry our time is up you'll have to make another appointment if you would lke to finish telling about your problem. NOT on to the next doctor who actually spent the time and figured it out I don't advise anyone to see this man if your looking for answers
