Excellent Doctor!!

There are not enough words to express the unending and most sincere gratitude I have for Dr. John Ike. There are far too few genuine, compassionate physicians such as he. While he is not God to change the circumstances that one is going through, he is certainly an angel on this earth that eases the journey. May God always bless you, Dr. Ike! You have absolutely won your angel wings ten times over.

I went to Dr. Ike from a referral 3 years ago. All he did was change my blood pressure medicine and told me to drink water all the time. Today I found out the I have Stage 5 kidney disease and need a transplant. Don't go to him he's wobt help you.

Dr. Ike is back at being excellent. He routinely checks on his patients. very concerned about their health. His staff has good attitudes. He always has had the right diagnoses. His response to emergency have gotten better, He gives fully detailed review about the patients history & current situation and prevention and gives his patience full detail about their health. He spends more time with his patients than any other doctors that I've seen. He also checks to make sure that the doctors he refers his patients to for other issues have good record, full knowledge and experience in the field that they are in. He has no problem with also standing up for his patients.

This doctor isn't as good as he used to be he,He used to be one of the best doctors around. Most kidney doctors comes to the dialysis centers 1 to 3 times a week. However Dr. Ike only comes 1 once every blue moon. (once every month or so). He has excellent knowledge about medicines and kidneys disease but when i comes to checking on his patients at his kidney centers he fails miserably at . He never knows how the dialysis centers is treating his patients. The only time you get to see him is when you come to his office. When you call his office his staff will tell you either hes busy or attending one of his meetings. If you call about something urgent goodluck with that cause you will never hear from him. Then about test results you think a doctor would tell you about the results when he gets them in well this one takes his time with them he might tell you 3 or 4 weeks later about them.

Dr Ike called me in, eventhough he was not scheduled to see any patient that day to alert me of my dangerous lab result. This single action, in my mind, saved me from hearth attack/stroke. He took time to explain my dangerous condition and helped me make the necessary adjustment until my condition improved.

He took time to explain my kidney condition and what I need to do to avoid or postpone dialysis. I highly recommend him.

I was admitted at Memorial Southwest Hospital with bladder obstruction and very bad kidney function. I did not have insurance. Dr Ike was very patient and saved my kidneys. He prevented me from getting on dialysis. He gave me samples of my medications from his office. He even saw me at his office for check up at no cost to me. What a wonderful and caring doctor.

Update to previous post. Dr. Ike showed up that night at 9:30 pm to give my parents the second opinion we had requested for my mom's EMERGENCY treatment. Note to Dr. the word emergency, we needed it that day not that night. That was an easy nickle we had already requested the EMERGENCY treatment be continued without your second opinion thanks to you we didn't get it till the next day.
