Dr. John Joseph Im, DO

I've been to see Dr I'm a number of times over the years and his treatment and advice has been excellent. Most recently I visited with a broken finger and tenosynovitis (that diagnosis came from an MRI that he recommended). His treatment was excellent and he helped me get the Celebrex that I take to be way more effective. My primary physician had me taking it at night, but taking it in the morning is much more effective. Thank you, Dr I'm!

I went to see him for what I thought was a kidney infection. He told me I was constipated, don’t know how he came to that conclusion. You can tell when you are. I did have a large tumor that needed to be removed.

Dr Im met with me three times in one week to fully assess my issues and make corrections in my prescriptions. Both he and his assistant were kind and thorough. After three months I am feeling much better following his recommendations. I will go to Dr Im again.

He always takes care of my issue the first time, no 2nd time visit for the same needed!!

I have been to Dr Im for several general sickness and emergencies. I dislocated my pinky finger and split the skin so that I needed stitches. He got xrays almost immediately. Stiched the tear and set the finger. My PT was very concerned that I see a hand specialist- I did and they said the set was great and I have full motion in that finger now. All that to say- I trust Dr Im.

I moved from MD to FL and went to Exceptional Urgent Care for a prescription refill. I’ve been seeing Dr. Im for around 5-6 months for my prescription refills and have paid him over $100 each time (one time is was $200+ because of a test he thought was necessary). The last time I went to see Dr. Im was a Wednesday and I didn’t have the money and told the girl up front that I could be there by Friday at the latest to pay the $105, She said ok. That Friday came and I wasn’t able to get off work early enough so I contacted a family member who agreed to pay it for me. The family member forgot to stop by later that day but ended up paying for it on Monday, 3 days later. I showed up today for my monthly scheduled visit and Dr. Im refused to see me because I didn’t pay the $105 for my appointment at the exact time I said I was going to. I tried to explain the situation and asked him “was the balance taken care of?” He said “yes, but I will not see you as a patient ever again.” I went to… my car and tried calling 2 local doctors and both were more then 3 weeks out for scheduling an appointment. I walked back into Dr. IM’s and told him I have the money for the visit, apologized for the 5th time for making the payment 6 days late, and explained that it’ll take me a month to see a new doctor and asked if he could write me a prescription to get me through until I can see a new doctor. Dr. IM then told his receptionist that I was trespassing and to call 911. So now I have no doctor, no prescription for a medicine I’ve been taking since I was 18 and going without will have negative side effects, over paying my co pay a few days late. So basically Dr. IM refused to treat me further because he didn’t receive his $105 at the time of my appointment.

I went to Dr. Im yesterday. Contrary to many negative post I think the Doctor is great. He was very attentive and listened very well and allowed me to fully explain my ailments. He immediately began treatment and assured me the he would cure me. I immediately felt like I was with a very experienced knowledgeable decisive doctor. Dr. Im also sent me an email today personally asking if I was ok as I have been suffering with Bronchitis for weeks. Dr. Im quickly discerned that the other doctors were not proscribing adequate medications to cure my illness. I know Dr. Im is correct because he prescribed medications just like my lung specialist in Orlando would have prescribed if he was not retired. Dr. Im read my CT scan and told me he will make me well the next several days. I feel tremendously better already now that I am receiving proper medications and dosages. This is my favorite doctor. I have been to many doctors in my lifetime. When you sit with Dr. Im you will… quickly realize he is well studied and very intelligent and decisive. He also takes the time to get to know you and let you talk as he is very patient and kind.

thinks he is too smart for you to tell him your problem would not listen to anything you say. No matter what you are wrong he knows all. WASTE OF TIME
