Dr. John D Jackson, MD

I have been going to Dr. Jackson for quite a few years. While I believe he is a knowledgeable internist, I feel that his "bedside" manner over the last couple of years could use a bit of tweaking. I realize in this day of modern technology how important it is to capture information electronically. However, I find it rather indifferent and somewhat rude when during a visit with my doctor, he makes little or no eye contact with me as he continuously types information into the computer. Unfortunately, that has been the reality of my recent visits with Dr. Jackson. Patients need to experience "human" concern when they visit with their doctor, not endure a visit that would have been better served "skypped."

Dr. Jackson is an very good doctor who listens to his patients, and never hesitates to recommend specialists (assuming your insurance covers it). He has over 25 years experience, and runs an efficient office. Appointments are mostly on-time.
