Dr. John Jairo Jimenez, DDS

Recently had a root canal of a large molar that had a crown. Dr Jimenez left a file or wire in my tooth that tortured me for three days. I went in after three days. He did not believe me until I forced him to do an x ray and he saw it. It had been rubbing my tongue raw. He drilled in the hard Temprory and took it out. Came back three days later. He started working on it again. Never explaining what he was doing. I was extremely nervous. Then he took another x-ray and saw that the tooth was cracked. He then said he talked to my Dentist and he said they agreed to save half the tooth and do a root amputation. I was in the chair with my mouth with a bite block and face very numb. I had taken a pain pill before I came in. I was supposed to make a decision then, when I didn’t know the options. He did not tell me it would include a bridge. I did not sign a consent. He removed half the tooth and did a root amputation. He then did a cadaver bone graft and stitched up the gum. I went to Hawaii… 3 days later and didn’t enjoy it at all. Pain pain pain. I will see him in court. Now I have to have the tooth pulled and get a 10,000.00 implant from a good oral surgeon. Run away do not pass go. Run Run RUN! RUN! RUN!

Dr. Jimenez committed the ultimate crime of ethics! He left a piece of file in my husband's canal while doing his root canal AND did not tell him. It has abscessed and Jimenez would not make time to see him until a week after the pain started. My husband couldn't wait so we found a phenomenal endodontist who made time to see him the same day. Unfortunately because of Jimenez's blatant negligence, my husband will need to have the tooth extracted and an implant.
